Introduction :
European EMC Products manufacture high-performance steel, knife edges, Gas Tight Doors, and framesets using a closed-cell neoprene gasket as the sealing agent. These doors are designed for high specification commercial and military applications which also require robust design, wash down capability, and easy change of seals.
The knife-edge contacts are on the door leaf. Door leaves are galvanized steel with a paint finish. Color to be advised.
The door frame is designed for bolting into the shielded room frame. A sealing gasket is included. 3 no. plated steel door hinges ensure a smooth operating action.
Manual 2-point latching system. All types of locks and monitoring equipment can be integrated if required.

Typical Performance
The leakage rate is defined as liters of air per linear meter of door seal per hour, i.e. a 2mH x 1mW door has 6 linear meters of the seal.
