Applications :
The ventilation blast valve is used as the ventilation valve for Civil Defense and Military shelters. These are specially designed to be used for the protection of vent pipes of sanitary systems and fuel and water tanks.
Specification :
The ventilation blast valve comprises a steel pressure disk mounted on a stainless steel spindle within a cast steel valve body and casing. The valve pressure disk is held open by a spindle-mounted spring and closes in response to the blast load. The manufacturer of the exhaust blast valve is European EMC Products Ltd, UK.

Test and performance data :
The valve is designed and tested to withstand multiple long-duration blast loads having a peak reflected overpressure of 19 bar while retaining its full functional ability. The valve is shock tested in the directions of the three main axes with a mechanical shock of the installation base having an acceleration of 30 g.
The ventilation blast valve is designed to function within an operating temperature range of -20 … +80 ºC.
